Printing a large file (400 dpi 1:1 at 78 x 43) this dreaded error code appearted after waiting about 1 hour for it to process the file

[Content Removed]

Claims onb panel it is formatting errors

research points to:    Problem Description  -  FW ? EH-PDL parse error

Corrective Action Options

Check for latest firmware, reboot, Run the 0001-05 E-box - Delete job manager queue diagnostic, Clean and change HDD, update firmware, repalce Formatter PCA

Just printed 4 prints - smaller (25 x 43) no issues

Problems on large files are a chronic mightmare with this printer siunce purchase

Firmware updatged only 2 weeks about by out tech

Does anyone have ideas - on deadline and leaving on trip in 72 hours

• Downsample to 300 dpi perhaps? Sometime file size

• Turn it on and off again?
• Clear job queue even though there are only a few saved files (inadequately small HP Hard drive led to pas problems - so we cleared qiueue and set to 5 jobs)??
• ????????????

thank you for any help if anyone sees this

Service manual states that the first step is to perform a hard disk clean using service utilities. Should that fail, replace the harddrive.
