HP DesignJet T1300 PostScript Printer

When powering up printer it gets to 94% initialize and won't go any further.  There is no error code.  We've tried unplugging, powering off, etc.  But still it will only get to 94%.  Any help would be appreciated.

It's possible you may have a bad printhead. Remove everything including network cable, media, all ink cartridges, and all printheads.

Close everything up, and restart the plotter. It should come to 100% and start asking for stuff. Install everything as asked and see if each are accepted.

With any luck, everything works. If any printhead is rejected, I would replace all of them.

That's the cheap and easy test before you start chasing hardware issues. Good luck!

Most times this is a supply issue (Media, Ink, Printhead). Remove all media, printheads and ink. Now turn the printer on and wait for it to ask for the supplies. Put them in and most times everything will be back to normal.

Having similar problems with printer not initializing above 78%.

I removed everything but the printheads.

How do I remove printheads if suitated in the no access area?
