HP DesignJet Z9+ 44-in PostScript Printer

When I installed new printheads in my Z9 bought in 2021, the printer ask to reinstall the printheads.  Even after the reinstalling, the printer don't recognized the printheads and the printer is non functional.

If you have not kept your firmware up to date then likely you missed a critical update that prevented ink build up on the left spittoon which prevents proper purging of print heads when new ones are installed. Open the window and look at the far left of the carriage and you will see a set of foam squares. If there is ink build up then you will need to remove that ink build up. If it is too bad you may need to replace either the absorbers,  one T10 screw to remove or the entire left spittoon. The picture below is a relatively clean one.
