HP DesignJet Z9+ 44-in PostScript Printer

I have a Designjet Z9+ that quite honestly has had more problems than it is worth.  After replacement of most of the printer heads, which were still under warranty, I finally have a working printer.  I now wish to print a document that is 36" wide by 22" tall on 36" wide paper, however the printer will not allow for it as it, antiquatedly, keeps asking for the document to be taller than it is wide.  I've tried resetting, creating custom sizes, printer properties, etc. and still get the same error message. I'm now using Photoshop to get around the error message, but to no avail.  What am I missing?

I suggest you try the HP Click software as I have found that it does a great job of automatically orienting jobs based on loaded paper.
