DesignJet 130nr
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Printing on sheet canvas (13x19) on Designjet 130NR works fine. Called HP Support asking if there are 24" canvas rolls that work. Was told, and it makes sense, the cutter cannot handle cutting canvas.

Has anyone found and successfully printed large pre-cut canvas for the 130NR? I have a good large paper cutter but as anyone who uses the 130 know, it easily rejects paper not cut perfectly.

Thanks,

Marty

Hi,

The cutter is not really designed to cut canvas. Is too thick

You can still use it, but you will need to replace it more often.

If your cutter used to work, you might need to replace it by now

Here is the part number Q1292-60064 Media cutter assembly

Best regards

Thanks for the feedback. The HP Satin roll is 15 mil thick and the Canvas I'm thinking of is 19 mil. Does not seem lik a lot of difference. Worthy a try and as you mentioned, can always replace cutter.
