I have a new HP 9720 printer which will not print Landscape.....any ideas?  Have tried rotating the paper in the tray already without success.  Please advise.

Consider --

  • → Load paper according to user guide
  • → Check / Update the printer firmware
  • Windows?  → Install the full driver printer software
  • Windows? →  Adjust Printer Properties > Tab Advanced > Driver to use the HP driver
  • Job Configuration -→ Look for a print setting for "Orientation"
  • Reference  → Check the Printer Media Specifications

The full driver printer software has been installed to support printing from Word.

 

Printer Properties - Advanced > Driver

 

 Printer Properties > Tab Advanced > Driver = the installed HP driver and not the IPP / Microsoft driver.

What?

The IPP / Microsoft drivers lack full support for printing and features.

Settings > Bluetooth & Devices > Printers & Scanners 

Select Printer from list

Tab Advanced > Section Driver

Select the installed HP Driver
