Product: HP DesignJet Z6 44-in PostScript Printer
Hi,
Who can help me reset the admin password of a DesignJet Z6? I just bought a used machine - nobody knows the password.
I can find no way to get in contact with HP.
Thanks,
Mats

Hi,
The solution is to use the PIN code from the service manual (Google it!).
When you click the service menu on the printer and it asks for the password you need to change the username. Click the little arrow next to "Admin" to change it to "Service". Enter the pin and you're golden. The reset password can be viewed in the printer information view.
