HP DesignJet Z5600 44-in PostScript Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

After replacing an empty ink cartridge, printer is now in a restart loop.  Received message "08:11.  Restart the printer. If the problem persists , **bleep**."

Have tried soft and hard resets.  Either way it starts but the status never gets past 1% and then the same message appears again.

Try reseating the formatter...if no fix then replace formatter/hdd

If you search online you should be able to find a service manual and in that manual there are specific troubleshooting steps for dealing with this error based on the light patterns displayed on the formatter LEDs.
