I load the roll per the instructions and the printer takes the paper for a little bit but then unloads it immediately after.   I have tried reseating the roll, a brand new roll of paper, I have tried switching the paper stock type and nothing seems to be working. HELP!

This can be caused by a dirty or defective line sensor. If the print head has leaked then ink gets smeared on the sensor, effectively blinding it. Look for excessive ink around the service station. These heads do leak, and if that has happened it will need replacing and the sensor cleaned. The sensor cleaning brush may also need replacing if it is covered in ink. Normal color is a tan color. If black, it is polluted with ink!.
