SMTP gateway is not responding for hp m755m .

 

after sending the machine for a maintanance service, I am trying to scan to my email and this message "SMTP gateway is not responding" is popping up. how can I fix it ? 

appreciate your help and effort

Check all your network settings and make sure that both your DNS settings and your network gateway IP is correct so that the printer is able to see outside of your internal network.
