I have a problem with my Smartstream generated files (PDF) that incorporate Spread Elements. They cause a white area above my imposed document when there is no white box in the spread elements file. As Spread Elements I have tried: InDesign documents, pdfs and Illustator eps. As long as the Spread Element is empty or not applied all works well, but as soon as I put something on that element the whole thing is shown with a white background - above my imposition. I find myself having to open my PDF document in Illustrator and removing the white box that covers my page on all pages... the problem is, it can be 1000s of pages sometimes. I've tried everything including reinstalling everything.  Using InDesign 2021 (v16) with Smartstream Designer (v16.0.8).  Running on MacBook Pro Apple OS Sonoma 14.6.1. I located a post from 2020 with this same problem but it doesn't seem to have been answered or solved. Anyone??

I was able to resolve this issue by first UNINSTALLING Smartstream Designer 16 and then installing it again. I had to open and resave my spread elements file.
