We have a really annoying issue. We use cannon paper rolls that come with a sticker that keeps the paper roll from unfurling. Every time we load a new roll we remove the sticker but it leaves a residue behind. That residue becomes quite pronounced on our dark background posters. We've tried wiping the residue off but that doesn't help. We've thought of cutting off that part of the paper, but it where it hits is about the size of a whole poster and we don't really want to waste the paper. Does anyone else have this issue?

D Hook that's very easy sounding. I use a strip of paper that I feed into a roll after removing it from the printer, wrap that around the roll, and then apply piece of tape so that it's only taping the wrapping strip to itself and does not touch the printing paper. There is no need to put tape directly onto the roll printing media.

This is an issue you need to address with your paper vendor. HP cannot dictate to 3rd parties how they package their product. Suggest to the vendor they need to reevaluate their packaging or change vendors.
