I have a roll loaded, the knife is cutting only 20% of the time, most cutting attempts, it jams up the roll.

While waiting on a new knife and a video showing how to replace it, I set the "Enable Cutter" to "Off" on the on-screen display, under "Settings" -> "Print Retrieval"

When I turn on the unit using the power button (power strip has been on for days), it attempts to cut the roll. And usually jams.

When the unit is powered up (power strip turned on), it attempts to cut the roll. And usually jams.

After plotting a page, it doesn't cut the roll.

Do I have to remove the knife to fully disable cutting?

You should not have to but if this is a temporary fix, that is what I would do to stop wasting time and paper.

One note, when I leave the plot in the plotter and it auto-shuts down, it also attempts to do a paper cut.

Looks like pulling the knife is the best bet. I can't seem to find any videos or instructions showing how to remove the knife. Any tips on that?
