Product: HP DesignJet T2500 36-in PostScript Multifunction Printer
Previously our T2500 was asking for a printhead replacement. I have replaced it an am now getting "Printhead Replacement Not Completed" messages. I called a local service company and they noted that the chip in the NEW printhead has now been coded by the plotter as faulty too. i.e. whatever issues there are, I need to get another $400 printhead. True? Seems like a scam from either HP or the service company to sell more printheads.
Do I need to replace all of the ink tubes and then purge the air from them? Do I in fact need to get a new printhead and this NEW one is junk?
