Plotter shows error 79:04 when loading paper.

I have already done these steps:

1. upgraded firware

2. run rewinder test

3. under suspicion that the rewinder motor is weak, i removed it, checked it at an electronics technician and seems like new! i installed it again, run the rewinder test and showed ok.

4. cleaned any surface that was possible

5. removed and replaced ink cartridges

6. removed and replaced printheads

After all these, the problem insists and do not know what else to do!

I have to note two things:

a. when loading paper i feel like when rewinding it, the motor still looks like weak. Feels like that there is a software problem and the rewinder does not takes the power (current) it needs

b. the problem firstly occured when was printing and suddenly lost its alignment. it continued printing for a while and then stopped with the message paper jam (86:01)

Have you tried purging the data from the arrive? Look for the disk initialize utility in the service menus.

Although it seems irrelevant, i did this as well, but the problem stays the same....

The plotter works perfectly until i try to load paper...

Are there any technical solutions or steps that i coyld follow so that find out

what causes the problem?

go to "Paper Drive test" pages if you have doubts about bad motor or cable, but for some time most errors comes from failing (but nod dead yet)  PCA components...
