Hello,
a T830 produces this Scan/Copy Output below instead of a correct picture. (Stripes are in feeding direction). Two weeks ago when the error occured I did a Scanner-Calibration with the printed calibration sheet you know. Then it worked fine agian. Today same error. About two years ago,
the printer had the same problem. We had a HP technician here. But when we tested the problem had gone.
But the technician replaced the F9A30-67017 Scanbars Kit anyway. Now we have the same problem again.
Does anyone know this error? What else can I do. Replace Main Board? Connection Cables? The error is not permanent.
Thank you.

If the scanners were replaced and the error still occurs I would suspect the scanner PCA as a possible culprit. F9A30-67029

Thank you.
The customer wanted me to show him how the scanner calibration can be done with the printers menu.
So I showed it to him. Error wasn't there before. But after calibration it showed up again and didn't go away anymore.
Great. So I unplugged and replugged the three flatcables from the scanbars on the Main-Board side.
So far error didn't show up again. I wiggeld a bit on the cables too, when scanning. No error.
So let's cross fingers that the error has gone. Customer was finally a little bit annoyed.

Hello,
last week the error showed up again
The customer switched the plotter off and on and error was gone.
Today error showed up again and nothing helped. (Switching on and off, Scanner Calibration with the sheet)
I switched the plotter off and uplugged it. Then the error had gone so far but it will show up agian. Im sure.

But the flatcables from the three scanbars are connected with the Main PCA. directly. Couldn't it be a RAM/Memory Error
on the main board, because as far as I can see the scanner PCA manages the drive motor and the sensors from the scanner.
According my gut feeling I would try the Main PCa first.
I don't believe it's a intermittend contact from the ffc cables of the scanbars.
Thank you
