Using the PDF V4 driver for the Z6 allows borderless printing while keeping scale. I used it for a week. Suddenly, the option for vertical trimming has disappeared? The solution in this post did not work for me.

At some point the driver got flipped. We are not sure how it occurred, but we have the Z6 printer and the installed driver was for the Z9. Thus, the vertical trimmer option was missing. The Z6 V4 driver was not in the list of drivers, so I don't know what happened to it?

The correct driver has returned the option of vertical trimming.

That is odd as the Z6 and Z9 are normally used with the Universal Driver and the 2 plotters are identical other than the inclusion of 2 inks and the option for a gloss enhancer on the Z9. Both are available with and without the vertical cutters.

Did you ever find the location of the PDF V4 drivers?

We had to reinstall them.

I worked with the internal IT department to try the PDF driver. I think since we were experimenting, IT didn't flag the change as permanent and my machine reimaged overnight. I could be wrong.

IT also renamed the plotter after we found the PDF V4 driver works. So perhaps my machine, having the old printer name screwed up the driver? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
