HP DesignJet T1600 doing auto maintenance. How does it happen nobody touching the plotter?

Hi,

 

Most designjet printers do an 'auto maintenance' procedure every few hours, and it uses a small quantity of ink, to keep the printheads healthy. This is more efficient than turning printer off and doing a more costly procedure when powering on.
