HP DesignJet T830 36-in Multifunction Printer

The printer loads the roll normally, continues to print, after 5-7 cm it unloads the roll without reporting any error. Printing is normal on A4 size plain paper. The sensors and the exposure tape were cleaned, but no result was obtained.

On the carriage there is a line sensor. A while back I had a couple of customers with similar problems and what we eventually found as that the printhead was leaking, resulting in a lot of ink in the service station area which resulted in the brush that cleans sensor was getting covered with ink and then transferring that ink to the line sensor. Open the right door and look at the mechanism. If you see a lot ink then you may have the same problem. In most cases we wound up replacing the service station  as the cleaning brush was damaged.
