Microsoft Windows XP (64-bit)

we have replaced the EE unit due to another error. Tried a emergancy firmware, wouldn't take it ..still get the 8:11. I have checked all cables, they look fine.

I thinking the formatter and HDD are next.

Correct?

Hi,

Yes, when you get a 08:11 and he Led 1 on the formatter is on, 2 and 3 are off there is a problem with the formatter.

What was the error before you replaced the EE? and What do you mean with EE?

Best regards

Mike G

EE box = engine board / power supply  left hand bottom.. where all the cables from control panel and data lines plug into... had a specfic error to that..customer had MAJOR power hit to the building .

Your issue is the formatter.
