Getting this error code when scanning to the network. Inconsistent, may occur on the first sheet, may occur on the 6th sheet, or at any other point.

Resolved: Client was doing multi page PDF scanning, and not waiting for the printer to finish processing the previous scan before putting the next sheet into the scanner. The scanner was drawing the sheet in and acting as if it was going to scan, not giving the user any feed back, to indicate that they needed to wait. Appears to be a disconnect between the scanner and the firmware, if it's not ready for the next sheet then it shouldn't run the original through, as opposed to to throwing a job ending error code, and requiring a restart.

First off, make sure that your firmware is up to date. Secondly, you want to access service utilities and run a file system check and it that does not help, run a hard disk cleanup.
