Hi,
I found the archived posts with links to the firmware, but they were dead links. would someone please post the updated link to the firmware for this plotter?
as a side note, why is it so hard to find? would it be hard to put a link in the plotter "support page"? perhaps there is a technical reason regarding this firmware/plotter specifically, I don't know...
in any case, Thanks in advance.
FD

Hi Rashed
Thanks for your useful post! I've also downloaded the firmware update, but don't know how to use it. The HP documentation I can find wants me to use HP Easy Printer Care, which I can see has been withdrawn som years ago, and I don't know what to do!! I'm running Win7 Home. I'd be very grateful for any help from you or anyone else!!!

Actually I think I might have found it here:
I just can't test it for a few days.

You can use the Embedded Web Server to update the firmware. Are you connected to the internet with the printer? If so, find the ISP number listed in the front panel menu under the Network tab. Open a tab on the internet on your computer and type that number into the new tab area, just like you'd type in "WWW.HP.com" except don't use the "WWW" or the ".com". So if I wanted to connect to my T1200 I would type in 192.168.200.119. It should connect you to your printer. There should be a tab on that page that allows you to update the firmware via the internet connection.
You'll need to have the firmware file on your computer desktop. Be sure you have the firmware and not the driver. This link takes you to the HP site that you'll need to choose the correct model of your printer:
https://support.hp.com/us-en/products/identify?q=Designjet%20t1100&filter=
Click on the model of your printer and the net page will list the drivers first, then the firmware towards the bottom of the page.
Update to let us know how it came out.
BTW, use care on the Driverguide website. Be sure you're downloading the file you want and not a program from them. I've been on that site before and all the large "Download" icons are actually links to their software where they try to sell you a bloatware program that searches for your driver. It's a rip off, since it's free on the HP website.
