When sending a print job to the roll, the printer will start by printing the first row, then quit giving the error message that is could not remove paper automatically. The printer also fails to print the diagnostic page. I have reset the printer but the message returns.

Hi,
you may try these suggestion to resolve your issue.
1. clear paper in multi sheet tray and check if there is any jam
2. check if the spindle is working fine or any damage, or it is loose when roll core size is incorrect
3. try clean the encoder strip
Hope it helps.

Did you ever figure out a solution to this problem? I've had my printer for a year and just now started to act up and say that same message. Tried the suggestions by other members but nothing has worked so printer is not able to be used.
