our printer will not cut each page how do fix this?

Does it try to cut but fail or does it not try at all. Normal operation would be that the print carriage moves all the way to the left, latches onto the cutter, then cuts the page and returns the cutter. If you print a report from the control panel is that page cut? If no see below.

Possible issues:

The latch  is not working properly so that the cutter does not get pulled across the paper to cut it.

The cutter itself has failed

If control panel reports are cut then cutting is disabled through either driver settings or a hardware setting on the printer.
