HP T2500
macOS 10.14 Mojave

Unable to wake the HP T2500 from sleep mode. Power button is lit and pulsing. Have opened scanner and closed, opened both paper doors and closed. Also unplugged printer from power outlet. Also cannot connect with printer through wifi. Last check on firmware was in October 2020 and was up to date.

Recently had a message about reloading paper. There was 5-6' of unprinted paper in the baler area. Reloaded and printed drawings without an issue.

Hello @Rktekt .

If the printer is not waking up from the sleep mode even if the latest firmware is install that means an issue either with the main board or something external causing it.

I have some questions:

Is the printer connected to any network? if it is then unplug it from it and decrease the sleep mode time to the minimum and then try waking it up by touching the screen or opening any of the covers, if still not waking up then I will suggest you either calling HP in case you have any type of warranty or contacting a service provider because the Main aboard has to be replace.

Also you mentioned that you cannot connect with printer through wifi, this printer doesn't have wifi capability so you won't be able to that type of connection.
