HP DesignJet T630 36-in Printer
macOS 11.0 Big Sur

Our brand new DesignJet T630 (delivered last Saturday) is now printing a blank page at the end of every file. It wasn't doing this before yesterday. The files we print are generally A0 size (36" x 47"). The file itself comes out perfect, I'd just rather not waste all this paper! Any ideas for causes and solutions are welcome.

Thank you for reaching out!

Your HP DesignJet T630 is printing an extra blank page after each job, mainly with A0 / custom-size files, and this behavior started recently, which strongly points to a driver, print settings, or application change.

Please try adjusting the page size, as macOS may silently enable a separator page—ensure this option is turned off. If the print job slightly exceeds the page height, macOS can generate an additional blank page; disabling the Scale to Fit option may help. macOS Big Sur is known to cause extra-page behavior with large-format printers when using AirPrint or generic drivers. Additionally, certain applications such as Illustrator, AutoCAD, InDesign, or even Preview may append a blank page. If this issue started suddenly, it may be related to a recent macOS or firmware update; we recommend updating the printer firmware using HP Utility.

Please keep us posted if this helps, or if you need any additional assistance.
