Product: T830
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Hi all,
Hope i could get some technical support here on a sunday 🙂
I have a designjet T830, these things happened:
- black ink was clogged: cleaned the printhead via the menu several times
- black ink leaked
- wouldn't print anymore because paper was not recognised: opend up the printer, cleaned the plastic of the line sensor + the brush
now my question: on the picture you can see the black leaking from the printhead ...should i replace the printhead or can it be saved ?
Could the problem lay elsewhere ? like the RIDS ?
According to the manual i need to replace the printhead when installing a new rids.
New RIDS and Printhead are like 1/4 of the price of the machine.
