Hi

What we can suggest (a creative way) to find the model would be to use the software;

http://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers#Z7_M0I02JG0KGVO00AUBO4GT60080

Choose "Let HP find my products" (assuming your product is connected)

Let us know if that works!

Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Forums.

The printer model should be prominent (usually on the front of the printer).

Serial numbers will never find the model of any printer.

If you can post a picture of the printer, we might be able to provide some clues.

What are you trying to solve, by the way?

Thanks.

i cant seem to find the model number on any side(have not checked the back side too hard to reach and look into ) the printer is in a high place, let me see if i can send you a picture......  it alot harder to find then the hp envy 4520 model (which is easier)
