i loaded the wrong firmware. unit was functioning and i was doing an update. i updated the fireware to IG_12-00-00.3-INCR-IG_06_00_00.2 and once i did i started getting error 21.2.13 . so i have tried communicating with the plotter using software and a USB cable but cant get it to take firmware. have tried booting unit up with firmware on USB and it wont take it either. front display will not let me by that error code.

This error code is a stalled service station. I would open the front window and make sure that nothing is blocking movement. Also make sure that the cutter is not engaged as this will cause this error. Cutter is on the left side of the carriage.

OMG thank you so much. it was a jammed print head i dont know what loading new firmware into it did to cause the issue but i had to put pressure on it to get it to move when it was tring to cycle and it took off. i have had people tell me to replace it, to call tech support( which i did and they were no help). i called my local HP support company and they would not even come out and look. if you are ever in Nashville look me up i owe you one buddy.
