Designjet T2300
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hello Forum,

I was at a client and had to replace 2 Printheads as the initialization was holding at 94%.

The following day I received a call saying that the new MK-Y printhead failed and has an error 0X00010.

There is no reference to this error in the Service Manual. I am assuming it is an internal error but it would be nice to know what it means so that I can inform the client what the next steps will be.

Thanks,

Roy K

I did sone further research and I found some internal PH codes from a Latex Manual. Assuming these errrs are the same for all/most other Designjet printers then the 0X00010 is an overheat within the printhead.

Cheers,

Roy K
