Hi Everyone, 

 

When connecting a regular USB Headset, it will be automatically set as Output and Input Device within Windows (10). No manual user interaction is needed.

 

When connecting the Polycom Trio 8800 via USB, the user manually has to go to Sound Settings and choose the output and input device "Echo Cancelling Speakerphone (Polycom RealPresence Trio 8800 Speakerphone)". 

 

Is there anything we can do that the Polycom Trio will be automatically set as Output and Input Device?

 

Edit: The Polycom Trio is set up as Generic (Base Profile).
