Hi:

 

On that model, since you installed a video card with a HDMI output, the onboard audio was disabled in the BIOS.

 

Back in those days, HDMI was new and the old BIOS thinks when you install a video card with HDMI that you also installed an audio card, so the PC disabled the onboard video and onboard audio.

 

The fix is very easy.

 

Go into the BIOS setup>Advanced>find the onboard audio setting.  It will set to Disabled.

 

Change the setting to Enabled.  Save the setting there and again when you exit the BIOS.

 

When you are back into Windows, the onboard audio will be working fine again.
