Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I did a factory reset. I had to reinstall Windows 10 and all the updates. I lost Audio, I need the correct driver please. I did try to click on the driver from 5 years ago in the conversation I saw below and it's a dead driver.

Thanks!

I found a thread where the user had a similar situation

https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Desktop-Audio/HP-Envy20-Audio-Driver-Issue-for-Windows-10-upgrade/m-p/...

See if that solution works for you.

I appreciate your help. That was the driver that I was talking about being a dead driver. When I click on the driver link it goes to a blank page.

That post was from 2020 so perhaps that page is no longer supported.  Try going to the support page

Official HP® Support

Scroll down to the "Let HP detect your product" and let it do its thing.  Then check the "Drivers and Software" and look for the Audio driver..

Here is a a driver for Windows 8.  Is the PC that old?

I got the audio to work there was a generic driver on there. When I did the research it told me to install the generic driver then go back in and select the IDT audio driver as default. Still haven't figured out that part but the volume's working. But now my touch screen stopped working. 🤦

I suspect you will need to use the link to the support page in my previous post and HP detect to find the needed drivers of the other items.

When you get to the support site, make a note of the model number and post that in this thread, also.
