OMEN by HP 40L Gaming Desktop PC GT21-1000i (6C1Q7AV)

Hello community,

Since some time ago (roughly 1 month) I started experiencing random popping and crackling noises when watching videos on Youtube. I thought that it might be my headset, however the noises also appear when using other speakers (such as external speakers and internal screen speakers).

I have tried various internet suggested solutions such as:

- Checking for new drivers;

- Re-installing drivers;

- Changing minimum energy settings

- Turn off core isolation (forum suggested), etc.

However the problem is still here. At this point I am wondering if it might be a hardware problem since my brother bought the exact same type of computer but does not have this issue.

Can you perhaps suggest a solution?
