Hi @Dougwchurch,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

About HP Support Scope

"Support is strictly for in-home parts; any hardware change, we will not have much support on Yamaha."

  • HP only supports hardware and drivers preinstalled or certified for your system.
  • Since Yamaha is a third-party external device, HP can’t guarantee driver compatibility or support issues caused by it.
  • If USB ports or the motherboard have issues, that falls under HP's domain. But USB audio device configuration, driver conflicts, or DAW/software problems with Yamaha are outside their scope.

If you're still seeing:

  • "Device not migrated"
  • Or the Yamaha unit is not functioning properly,

Then you may want to:

  • Try a different USB port (preferably rear panel, directly on the motherboard).
  • Disable USB selective suspend in Power Options.
  • Try on another PC to verify it's not a hardware issue with the Yamaha unit.

I hope this helps.

Take care, and have an amazing day!
