HP ENVY Desktop - TE01-1150xt CTO
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

This is a new computer that I purchased directly from HP. It arrived in March and has serious performance issues that render it unusable for my work. The biggest two problems:

1. audio glitches/pops occur in every app, all the time. I have seen this described on the web, and this description was pretty accurate: "To describe it in short: It appears at random, though fairly often. Sometimes every 10 seconds, sometimes every 30 - 60 seconds. It is a very short, micro stutter-like glitch in audio." It is maddening and none of the little HP audio troubleshooting fixes do anything.

2. The computer restarts on its own at least once a day. A blue screen pops up and says "the device ran into a problem and needs to restart" then it instantly shuts down. I spent hours with an HP technical support controlling and diagnosing my system - but that went nowhere. I also had a computer repair person try to fix the system. This was expensive. But no problems were solved.

So basically, the computer is unusable. Has anybody seen these problems? Can they be fixed. Or does HP need to send me a new system? Thank you.
