I understand that your Victus by HP 15.6-inch Gaming Laptop (15-fa0000) is showing "No output devices" and you’re unable to get any audio. Let’s go through some troubleshooting steps to resolve this issue.
Check Basic Settings
✔ Ensure the volume is turned up and mute is not enabled.
✔ Click the Speaker icon in the taskbar > Check if an output device is selected.
Set Default Audio Device
- Right-click on the Speaker icon in the taskbar.
- Select Sounds > Go to the Playback tab.
- Right-click on your audio device and click Set as Default Device.
- Click Apply and OK, then test the audio.
Use Windows Troubleshooter
- Open Settings (Win + I) > System > Sound.
- Click Troubleshoot under Output.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to detect and fix issues.
Verify Audio Device in Device Manager & BIOS
- Press Win + X > Select Device Manager.
- Expand Sound, Video, and Game Controllers.
- If your audio device is missing or has a yellow exclamation mark, right-click > Update Driver.
- Restart your laptop and check if the issue persists.
- Also, enter BIOS (F10 at startup) and ensure the audio device is enabled.
Use HP Support Assistant
- Open HP Support Assistant (pre-installed on your laptop).
- Navigate to Fixes & Diagnostics > Run One Click Fix - Audio Check.
