HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop PC TG01-0000i (8BG56AV)

Hi. I just got off a chat with Microsoft support. A family member recently bought a computer and they wanted to get the same one that I have so I ordered it for them and was very stunned to see that there was a sound coming out of their monitor. My Microsoft support agent told me that it didn't look like my monitor had built-in speakers but it would be better to confirm with the manufacturer. They told me to come to you for further information.

Hi @austinjplant,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like you're experiencing some confusion about the audio setup with the HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop PC. The Pavilion series typically doesn't come with built-in speakers in the monitor. However, the desktop itself should have audio output ports where you can connect external speakers or headphones for sound output.

You can check the back or sides of the desktop for audio output ports, usually labeled with a headphone icon or "audio out" label.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
