HP ENVY Desktop - 700-527c
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, i have been having an issue with my hp system for a while now and cant find a fix for it. so the issue is the audio jacks and digital audio out stopped working completely and just output static, tried updating the system bios but no luck. also looked for an updated driver for it but that did not work as well and also looked in the bios to see if something got disabled relating to the audio but nothing there was disabled, so something must be going on with the motherboard or audio controller on the board itself. my HP System is an Envy 700-527c and owned since new, so it was well taken care of, so not sure what could be causing this issue. i dont mind ordering a new motherboard for it as long it isnt super expensive, i appreciate all feedback and solutions to this issue. Specs are: Intel Core i7 4790, 12gb Ram, RTX 2060 Super, 700W PSU. also i would like to know when using bluetooth, the audio cuts in and out more often and updated the drivers to that as well but no luck

Hi, @irwin6. I have already tried those steps and no luck. I never download drivers/software through windows update as they can cause problems. It is running windows 10, and it is known to have problems with certain devices. But I did notice this problem occurs with other operating systems as well so I am assuming something is going on with the motherboard. This motherboard is equipped with beats audio, also with usb 3.0. Like I said in my other post, I owned it since new and always updated it so not exactly sure what is happening. It may need to be repaired
