Microsoft Windows 11

A few months ago, I purchased a Hewlett-Packard

After downloading Windows 11, I found that at 12:59 MST a beeping sound emanates from one of my speakers. It starts at about one beep per second and after a short term, it changes to two beeps per second and repeats this process until it is just short of a solid tone by 13:1.5 MST when it ceases. I contacted a Windows technician for help. After some discussion, he said that when an internal piece of hardware is about to fail, a beeping sound will be heard as a warning, but he was not ready to say that my computer was about to have a piece of hardware fail.

On 12/1/2021We went to the keyboard and pressed the windows logo key and R to reach the Run program. There we entered REGEDIT to work on Registries. There I worked my way to Computer\HKEY_current_user\controlpanel\sound and selected Beep. I then modified the Beep advisory from Yes to No and rebooted. Today (12/2/2021) the beeping started right on time at 12:59 MST, so the fix did not work, and I returned to advisory to Yes.

Can you give me any advice concerning this problem?

I am using an HP Desktop: HP ENVY TE01-1xxx, Model Number 319J3AA#ABA with Windows 11.

@Paxilman -- could this be a "scheduled task" -- like a bed-side alarm-clock that daily "buzzes" at 7 AM, and gets more "insistent" if you ignore the alarm-clock?

Some sort of "reminder" function, or "calendar" entry?
