Hi, I am a newbie to this forum so apologies if I am asking you to cover ground already covered.  The above PC comes complete with Bluetooth.  However, when I try to get it to play back audio via a pair of Cambridge Yoyo M bluetooth speakers the sound only comes out of the right-hand speaker.  The speakers perform fine when used with another source such as my tablet.  I get the same problem with my bluetooth head-phones in that only the right channel appears to be working when paired with the PC- so it definitely appears to be the PC at fault.  The speakers are within a few feet of the PC so it's not an issue with the bluetooth range.  I did try updating the drivers for the bluetooth but was told I was already using the latest ones.  I did wonder if there is a balance control somewhere (e.g.  it was turned all the way to the right), but I haven't been able to find one.  Any ideas please?

Hi:

This would be the latest Bluetooth driver for the Realtek Bluetooth adapter your notebook has...

1.8.1037.3000

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp111501-112000/sp111899.exe

I have used audio speakers with Bluetooth in the past and never had an issue with the balance.

When first connected, I got sound from both speakers by default.

Since you are probably getting the same results on your other PC's, and if you don't have the above driver, and installing the new one above does not fix the problem, then there may be an issue with the Realtek wifi card's Bluetooth radio.

You can also watch this video and see if that works...

Hi,  re your suggestions, the drivers did not make a difference.  Although I kept on having to back-track and replay parts of the video because she goes through the steps so quickly, the good news is that it worked!  Both Bluetooth speakers are now working correctly.

Many thanks!

You're very welcome.

Glad it wasn't a hardware issue.
