I think I used to be able to do this, but I'm not certain.  I wanted to play my Samsung Galaxy S10 phone audio out to the speakers on the HP Envy 32 desktop computer.  I can get the bluetooth to pair, but when I go to the pull down menu from the phone, and click on the "media output", the paired desktop computer is not there.  When I then go to the phone's settings for bluetooth and click on the settings for the computer, both "Calls" and "Audio" are off.  If I turn on the audio, I get a message that it can't connect to the computer. Isn't this supposed to work.

Shouldn't this be able to work.  As I said, I could have sworn I did this before, but it was a long time ago.

Okay, I got it. I went back to the screen menu (button on bottom right of screen frame).  I navigated again to the BT Speaker place.  I believe the sequence I went in was, started Scanning for bluetooth on the phone settings, then on the screen menu Disconnect, then Off, then ON. Suddenly the BT Speaker showed up on the phone available devices.  Then I'm not sure if I just immediately paired it, or whether I switched to the Pair option in the screen menu and then did the pair on the phone since the BT Speaker item was still there.

Hope this info is helpful for someone else.  It sure was a hidden feature and what they did in the video didn't seem to work as easily as they made it look.

Ok, I managed to find a video on hp that showed what needed to be done.  It was called "Connecting and enabling BT speaker to play music on your HP Envy 32 All-in-One".  It showed going into the menu from the button on the bottom right of the unit.  Then go to the menu for "Audio", then "HP Envy BT Speaker" and then turn on "Pair".  Then the speaker should show up as "HP Envy BT Speaker" in the phone's bluetooth scan and allow me to pair with it.  But it doesn't show up in my phone so I can't connect to it.

Anybody have a clue as to why it doesn' show up?
