Frequently I hear an audible alert, usually a series of 3 tones or two sets of 3 tones, coming from the internal speakers. I have to shut my desktop down to stop them. I use speakers on my monitor and muting them doesn't help. I have also shut off all notifications. Still can't stop the alerts.
I believe this issue is similar if not identical to to this post: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Operating-System-and-Recovery/Can-I-turn-this-notification-so...

Hello
I have not looked yet, and not sure to find, because it varies according to the models of computer, and the hp pages consulted!
So you can't directly stop it like that!
It is an internal malfunction, you are already in luck if the computer restarts
Basically, it is the motherboard that sends a signal to indicate a malfunction (if I did not understand the description)
This can for example be a faulty memory module, so to stop the alert, it is necessary to identify, what is faulty.
