My system was running great. Needed to reset Windows 10. After that, everything works except Windows does not detect an audio source. NVIDIA audio is detected in the device manager.
I have tried every method that I could think of. HP support assistant says that it is fine and that there are no updated drivers. However, I did reset Windows with a fresh download install, so the audio drivers were not directly from HP.
I did test the speakers in another computer so it is not the speakers.
Help please. Is there something that I am missing? Is there a way that I can directly download updated drivers?
Thanks much for any assistance.

Hi:
You probably need to install the W10 IDT audio driver.
Tempo High-Definition Audio Driver (Original IDT)
6.10.6504.0
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp71501-72000/sp71717.exe
Restart the PC after installing the driver.
