I appears that the display port does not support audio output. My display with speakers works fine when audio input through 3.5mm audio out from desktop, but no audio when display port is selected. Does the Display Port on this desktop support audio out?

Upon further review there wasn't a problem after all. I just misread the monitor setup menu and thought it was set to 3.5mm audio input when it was really set to Display Port.
