Windows Settings:

  • Open the Sound settings in Windows.
  • Go to Input and check if a built-in microphone appears in the options list.

Device Manager:

  • Open the Device Manager.
  • Expand the Audio inputs and outputs category.
  • Look for an entry that mentions a microphone, which indicates it is built into the laptop.
