Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I installed home theatre v4 and here is my issue:

The software installed only applies to the internal speaker and not to the front or rear jacks. By that I mean the equalizer specifically does nothing unless the internal speaker is the default/active sound device. Before installing DHT the system behaves as you would expect. Plug a speaker into the audio jack, front or rear, the internal speaker shuts off and sound goes to the external sound device. With DHT installed, the jack o/p's and the internal speaker appear as separate devices and the dolby software only applies to the internal device.

Any one know what I need to do to fix it so the equalizer specifically works on the external connectors as well or just with them? I really don't care about the internal speaker.

Thanks!
