Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I own a hp-di2000TU laptop. recently my fan stopped working and I got it changed from nearby repair shop. When I came home and pulgged in my earphones I saw that earphone mic was not working whereas internal laptop mic was working. I checked other earphones too and there mic was not working either. Before the repair, it was working tho. I went again to the shop and they said it's windows problem and they'll reinstall windows, but I don't think it is windows problem as earphones mic was working fine before the repair.

Please help as mic is essential for me to do my work

HP Recommended

I arleady did all these things, reinstalled drivers checked for updates and the sound setting is ok too. Still it won't work
