I’m connecting my Xbox via hdmi input on my all in one but I can’t get the menu up when pressing enter on the keyboard to control the volume. I can’t see where I can control the volume anywhere else?

Welcome to HP support community.
You can control the volume from the computer also.
Meanwhile:
Update the Bios and keyboard driver using HP Support Assistant.
Download and run the HP Support Assistant from this Link: Click here
HPSA will automatically search for all the latest drivers for your Notebook
-
Click My devices in the top menu, and then click Updates in the My PC or My notebook pane.
-
Click Check for updates and messages to scan for new updates.
-
Review the list of updates. Updates with a yellow information icon are recommended. Updates with a blue information icon are optional.
-
Click the update name for a description, version number, and file size.
-
Select the box next to any updates you want to install, and then click Download and install.
Also ensure Windows is up to date.
Select the Start button, and then go to Settings > Update & security > Windows Update , and select Check for updates. If Windows Update says your device is up to date, you have all the updates that are currently available
Let me know how it goes.

Thank you for replying. I ended up connecting external speakers for now to control the volume from them. I ran all updates as suggested from HPSA and windows updates and now I can control the volume from the computer and keyboard but now I only have the option of 100% volume or mute. It won’t let me adjust to a suitable volume?

Please try few steps recommended below.
-
From the Windows 10 desktop, right-click on the taskbar, then select Properties to open the Taskbar and Start Menu Properties box.
-
In the Taskbar tab, left-click the Customize... button on the right of 'Notification area:' to open the Settings/SYSTEM/Notifications & actions window.
-
In that window, under Quick actions, left-click on 'Select which icons appear on the taskbar' to open the Settings/SELECT WHICH ICONS APPEAR ON THE TASKBAR window.
-
In that window, a list of icons is displayed with their names and on/off switches. Find the Volume icon and select the switch to On. Close the window.
-
You may have to restart Windows for this change to take effect.
Cheers.
