Product: HP ENVY All-in-One - 27-b235t
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I have an Envy All-in-one 27-b235t. The built in microphone is not working. When I go to sound setting>input there is no input device detected. My original paperwork shows a built-in microphone situated next to the camera. I have used the troubleshooter and did not get a solution. Tried turning on computer and pressing esc to get to diagnostics. Diagnostics did not have an option to troubleshoot the microphone. Nothing on the HP site is helpful. Any  help would be appreciated.

Hi:

 

Your PC does not have driver support for W11 from HP.

 

HP ENVY All-in-One - 27-b235t Software and Driver Downloads | HP® Customer Support

 

The only suggestion I can offer would be to (re)install the W10 Realtek audio driver and hope that gets the microphone to show up again.

My only concern is that I hope the W10 driver doesn't cause the audio not to work at all.
